How to Level Up in the Video Game Called 'Reality'

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐓𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐔𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 '𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲'⁣
⁣
𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦. ⁣
⁣
A computer game is a reflection of what is. A movie is a reflection of what is. Books, TV series and internets are all reflections of what is. ⁣
⁣
They are created BECAUSE of WHAT IS. And are proper examples to use as metaphors in an attempt to explain this mysterious existence we all share.⁣
⁣
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. As energy moves through us, we filter it and watch it congeal on the screen of Reality in front of us. There are many ancient books that say this in different words but the Kybalion's law of correspondence sums it up nicely: "𝐀𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐬𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰." ⁣
⁣
This can be translated also as "so within, so without". If you prefer a biblical take you could say, "As it is in Heaven, so it shall be in the earth." To put it as simply as I can, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝. ⁣
⁣
Ok, so what about the video game?⁣
⁣
The preamble is necessary to understand the concept of how to move your player to the next stage or level in the video game. ⁣
⁣
𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭, 𝐬𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐞. Our fate is the same. ⁣
⁣
This incarnation is temporary and every action we take affects the story. We're also subject to the rules in the game as well as the intentions and interests of the other players. ⁣
⁣
As you can see, this could get really complicated really fast if we were attempting to calculate all the potential variables involved, which already exist because the infinite nature of the universe. ⁣
⁣
Every choice, pattern, idea, dream, thought, scene, and version already exists in the mental world. ⁣
⁣
"𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲." ⁣
⁣
It's just a matter of 'choosing' the reality we wish to see projected onto the screen. ⁣
⁣
SO HOW DO WE CHOOSE?⁣
⁣
It's taken me a minute of background here to set this up but I do so with the hope that it makes the idea of choosing much more simple. ⁣
⁣
We create by how we choose to react to what the video game presents us. ⁣
⁣
𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐬: 𝐀 (𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁 (𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫). ⁣
⁣
The A button (love) reaction infuses with the energy that is emanating through us and congeals into favorable alternatives and options in our physical reality. ⁣
⁣
The B button (fear) reaction infuses with the energy that is emanating through us and congeals into less favorable alternatives and options in our physical reality. ⁣
⁣
On a linear graph, attitude determines altitude. Not in some corny, woo-woo way but in a supremely obvious and noticeable correspondence that exponentially continues in either direction. ⁣
⁣
More fear, more shitty opportunities and the worse life gets. More love, the more beautiful the scenery becomes and the better the congealed reflection in relation to our character.⁣
⁣
𝗪𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞. ⁣
⁣
We can be Mario or Zelda or Princess Toadstool. To have the best experience as that character means to appreciate ALL OF the aspects of that character's journey. ⁣
⁣
For example: If I want to be an actor in my video game, there will be certain things that will be required of me. ⁣
⁣
I'll have to audition, I'll have to practice, read scripts, learn plays, watch movies, attend seminars and work with coaches. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐝𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥, i.e. "SUCCESS!". ⁣
⁣
⁣
If I want to be an actor but I don't like auditioning and constantly complain about how I don't get parts or why my coach sucks and why they don't understand me, then my character is choosing to level down. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲. I'm actively smashing the B button of fear and creating a disastrous world for my character. ⁣
⁣
If I am toadstool but hate being a girl, I'll never level up as that character. 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈'𝐦 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐦𝐲 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫. This doesn't mean I can't make changes to the avatar-- I totally can! I'll just have to embrace the journey of making changes to that particular character. ⁣
⁣
𝗪𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞. 𝗪𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤. Put it in context and CHOOSE by tapping the A button and reacting to the situation with LOVE, gratitude, good-will and you WILL CLIMB to the next level in the video game that you've chosen to play. ⁣
⁣
Embrace the journey of the character you've chosen, warts and all, and you'll rise to the top without having to fight for your place in the sun.⁣
⁣
Learn to CHOOSE. Tap the A button when your character seems threatened and appreciate the journey you are on. ⁣
⁣
Whatever your avatar, be it a comedian or a coach or a real estate agent, 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞!⁣
⁣
If the role doesn't suit you and you can't see the beauty in the journey you've chosen, you can always choose another avatar in the main menu.⁣
⁣
I hope this will clarify the process for you. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄. I'm not here to preach, it's up to you to choose.⁣
⁣
love is all there is.⁣
